Family Support

Supporting the families of pupils at the school is an essential part of our work. Daily communication is provided by a home school communication book that keeps families up to date with their child’s daily progress. Regular meetings and telephone contact with parents ensures both school and families are working together.

The family support worker’s are based in the school and works with families of pupils at the school. Parenting support is available through group or individual parenting classes that look at the specific challenges of SEMH children.

“Pupils have extremely good access to a range of therapists on site which include speech and language, dance and movement therapy, and a play therapist.”
