Wolverdene Special School is a Local Authority residential special school for 55 pupils.  All the children have special education needs identifying Social, Emotional and Mental Health.

We require an additional family support worker to compliment the work of our existing family support worker.  This role will require you to work as part of the school care team and focus on working with tier 3 and 4 pupils and their families in multi-agency cases.  Experience of supporting families through multi-agency intervention is essential and previous experience within children’s social care or CAMHS would be helpful.

Relevant experience and a level 3 qualification is essential.  Training within a recognised family intervention programme would be desirable.
